The Summer swim season begins on Monday, April 29, 2024 and ends with Champs on Saturday, July 20,2024.

All swimmers must swim one lap of freestyle in order to participate in summer swim program.

Note:  If you are a new swimmer you must attend a mandatory swimmer evaluation. If you have signed up late, You can come early to your first practice and ask the coach on deck to evaluate the swimmer for summer swim. You can register and if your child isn't safe enough to swim with the team for Summer we will refund you. 

Summer Swim Practice Schedules:

April 29th to May 30th (Afternoon Practices)

Days: Mondays - Thursdays

Practice Times:

4:00 – 4:30PM: 6 & Under

4:00 - 4:45PM: 7/8

4:45 – 5:30PM: 9/10 and 11/12

5:30 – 6:30PM: 13 - 18

Exceptions: No practice May 27th (Memorial Day)

 

June 3rd to July 19th  (Morning Practices)

Days: Mondays - Fridays

Practice Times:

Monday - Thursday

8:00 – 9:15AM: 13-18

9:15 – 10:15AM: 9/10 and 11/12

10:15 - 10:45AM: 6 & Under

10:15 - 11AM: 7/8

 

Friday’s

8:30 – 10:00AM: Technical Drills

8:00 – 8:30AM: 13-18

8:30 – 9:00AM: 9/10 & 11/12

9:00 - 9:30AM: 6 & Under and 7&8

 

Exceptions:

No practice June 13-14 (Castlewood Golf Tournament)

No practice July 4 – 5 (4th of July Holiday)

 

Summer Swim Fees:              Member*      Non-Member

Age 4- 14                                   $350            $450

Age 15-18                                  $175            $175

*Member pricing is for Members of the Club at Castlewood

 

Team Apparel: 

This season your registration will include a Barracudas swim cap and tee-shirt. Register before April 1st to guarantee the correct size shirt for your swimmer. Sooner is better though! You will be required to wear this team cap for all meets. See Team Spirit Wear and Uniforms Tab for link to store to purachse team suits and other spirit wear.

 

 

Practice Equipment

Finally, our swim coaches have requested that each swimmer bring goggles, fins and kickboard each day to practice.  Please see fin and kickboard suggestion below:
